It’s finally that time of year! Whether you live in Philly area or Southern New Jersey, we have picked out some of our favorite nearby beaches! What’s great about living in the Philadelphia or a Philadelphia suburb, you have access to both the city and some of the best beaches around! If you’re new to the area, this list will give you a full feel of what each shore town has to offer!

Sea Isle City


Located in Cape May County, Sea Isle City is the classic family town! With clean beaches, a calm neighborhood, promenade and places to drink, like Ocean Drive and the Carousel, outdoor bar, Sea Isle has it all! Must try Yum Yum’s or Maritas for the best ice cream and Italian ice!

There’s nothing like the Avalon charm! Located on the Seven Mile Beach in which the town shares with Stone Harbor, this is one of New Jersey’s most affluent shore towns with some of the most expensive real estate around! The beach has even more to offer with its recreation, restaurants, including the Princeton, shopping, beaches and bay! Definitely worth the visit!

Cape May


At the very top of southern New Jersey, is Cape May! One of New Jersey’s most beautiful beach towns and lighthouses! With an array of restaurants, loads of shopping, and a zoo, Cape May is perfect for a family or girl’s weekend getaway!

Long Beach Island


Also locally known as, LBI is the real deal! Called the “Beach lover’s paradise”, because of the relaxing surf and sunny beaches throughout the island. This is the shore town for you if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing beach day, surf or vacation. Just north of LBI is Barnegat Lighthouse State park, check it out!

Ocean City


Found in the heart of New Jersey, Ocean City has everything! With great beaches, a friendly boardwalk and list of attractions, Ocean is perfect for a family vacation! When you do take a trip to OC, make sure to try the famous Manco & Manco’s pizza!
